R.I.S.E. Youth Empowerment League Honors Messiah Love as Spotlight Player of the Week

Chicago, IL — The R.I.S.E. Youth Empowerment League proudly recognizes Messiah Love as this week’s Spotlight Player of the Week, celebrating not only his talent on the court but also his character, consistency and leadership off of it.Messiah’s presence throughout the week has been nothing short of inspiring.

Whether it’s showing up early to put in extra work, encouraging his teammates during tough moments, or leading by example through his actions, he embodies the very core values that R.I.S.E. stands for: Re-Engage, Integrity, Support, and Empower.“Messiah represents everything this league is about,” said Kendall Jordan, a R.I.S.E. League coordinator. “He doesn’t just play the game, he uplifts those around him. His work ethic, energy and leadership continue to set the tone for others to follow.”On the court, Messiah showcased his skill and competitiveness, playing at an impressively high level while keeping his focus on teamwork and growth. Off the court, his attitude and positivity made him a standout example of what it means to be a student of the game and a leader within the community.

The R.I.S.E. Youth Empowerment League powered by the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation, Beyond Athletics Chicago, Camp Mind Over Matter and Homan Square Park District continues to highlight young athletes like Messiah Love who embody excellence in both performance and character. As the program continues, Messiah’s name will stand as a reminder to every player in the league that success isn’t only measured by points scored, but by the impact made on those around you.
